Having a safe and welcoming Nursery for your baby is important for them to feel safe and familiar with their sleep environment,

try not to have too many stimulating pictures and bright colours. I feel that mobiles are more beneficial so you can move the change table over the cot because mobiles can overstimulate your baby and keep them awake. Aways take your baby into a well lit room during the day before sleep this is part of their transitioning towards the cot. Change their nappy, wrap or sleeping bag on whilst on change table, then close curtains and play some relaxing music or white noise then place them in the cot and start hands on Responsive settling.
